Academia de Cachaça was inaugurated in 1985 in a small store near Leblon, a famous district in Rio de Janeiro. The main idea was to create a space where the Brazilian Cachaça, could be experienced, understood, unveiled and appreciated. The Academia de Cachaça is the result of a team effort that always aims to offer its customers an authentic high-quality product in a welcoming environment.

At Academia de Cachaça, you will have the opportunity to explore Brazil's most iconic spirit: Cachaça. You can savor it in original and traditional cocktails, such as the famous Caipirinha, or try other traditional flavors like the Capeta, a Brazilian cocktail with Cachaça and Guarana – a typical fruit from the Amazon forest – or cocktails prepared with Paçoca, a Brazilian sweet, prepared with peanut powder and cassava flour. Additionally, you can indulge in some traditional Brazilian dishes to complete the perfect Carioca experience!
