Topčider Park in front of Knez Miloš residency

Weird & Wonderful
One hundred and eighty years is quite a lifespan. The oldest living Belgradian is about that age. As it is often the case in this region, the exact date of birth is hard to establish. But what is an established fact is that this Belgradian is simply beautiful and beloved by many. Especially on a hot summer day. The oldest Belgradian is a sycamore tree in front of the Knez Miloš residence in Topčider, the oldest park in Belgrade, and it is quite impressive. It is 34 meters high, has a stem circumference of 7.35 m and the canopy stretches 49 meters. Its branches are supported by 17 columns and they have already fused with the tree. Besides having a stroll through the park, having a coffee under the oldest Belgradian is sure a thing to enjoy.
