Experience Porto from one of its most charismatic perspectives: the Douro River! Climb aboard a rabelo - a traditional cargo boat unique to the city that was once used to transport port wine from the Douro Valley to Porto, where it was traded and exported. From this historic vantage point, you can admire the old part of the city with its traditional colourful houses. When you reach the mouth of the Douro and the beaches, another boat will take you to the picturesque fishing village of São Pedro da Afurada.
