FILM WATCHING IN THE FACTORY

Hamburg

Naxos.Kino, Waldschmidtstrasse 19

The Naxoshalle is a former factory building full of character. The industrial space from 1906 is decaying, a bit shabby here and there – and an ideal location for cultural events. The old building also has its own cinema, the naxos.Kino, which is dedicated to documentaries. In terms of content, the films, shown on a big screen on Tuesday evenings, revolve around social issues. After you’ve watched the movie, you don't head home straight away, but stay for the discussion afterwards. An essential part of the evenings are the film talks with the directors, editors or cinematographers of the movie you’ve just seen. Stay and have a chat with the insiders!
