Epic flavours include Lime Basil, Cheesecake, Bourbon Vanilla as well as their famous Inimitable chocolate and hazelnut gelato. Limited edition seasonal flavours include Yuzu, Bergamot, Sudashi, and Calamansi. It’s a great pit stop whether you are souk shopping or after a day at the beach. It’s more expensive than your regular ice cream parlour, but certainly worth it - a standard cone goes for AED 28 but you can try as many flavours as you want.

SALT’s soft-serve ice creams are the stuff of legend and come in a variety of delicious flavours. Whether you opt for staple favourites like Lotus and Brownie or indulge in seasonal varieties like watermelon, super zesty lemon or the tropical mango and coconut hybrid softie. With a myriad of locations in Dubai from Kite Beach, Al Khawaneej Walk, Dubai Mall, Marina Mall, DXBike to Museum of the Future – you’ll always be able to enjoy the best soft serve ice cream wherever you are. A single serving typically costs AED 25, with family options like sharing cups and bigger scoops ranging from AED 40.

The ice cream makers at The Ice Cream Lab are the Willy Wonka’s of Dubai’s ice cream scene. This ice cream shop, come lab, in Dubai Mall is a delightful showcase for their state of the art technology, as well as their range of low sugar ice-cream and shakes. No preservatives or emulsifiers are added to the live nitrogen ice-cream making process which makes it a healthier alternative for ice-cream lovers. The lab like ambiance offers a great experience as the ice cream is made before your eyes. Even staple flavours like strawberry are incredible. It offers the classic pairing of strawberries and cream, with a slightly tart red-berry flavour. And because it’s made from fresh strawberries, you even get a slight taste of little seeds.

The Dragon Breath ice cream made with cheese balls dipped in liquid nitrogen is smothered in sci-fi nitro-smoke. Other innovative flavours include Blue Velvet Cupcake, Strawberry And Lotus and Rodeo Road – a delicious Nutella and butter biscuit ice cream blend topped off with marshmallows. Ice-cream flavours are subject to an evolving menu and range from AED 20 to AED 25 per serving.

Temple Creamery is located inside the Slō Ceramics studio which is housed within an old villa on Al Wasl Road. The minimalist décor is highlighted by vibrant indigo tiled banquet seating and lavender walls. Temple Creamery serves vegan and dairy ice cream alongside an array of cereals and toppings. The menu is small although you will often find experimental limited edition flavours. Bestsellers include The Road Trip - cinnamon toast crunch cereal and maple syrup churned into the house made vanilla ice cream. And The Ruffle – a blend of peanut butter, Reese’s Cups,  Ruffle chips and vanilla ice cream.  Get your  ice-cream to go and wander around Slō’s creative showroom. Price per scoop is around AED 12.50. 

At Morelli's, you’ll find marvellous Italian ice cream and nostalgic sundaes. Expect seasonal flavours and everything from a Dulce De Leche Caramel serving to Banana Splits and the delicious Wild Berry Pavlova Sundae. Served with raspberry coulis., meringues and drizzled with Magnum chocolate sauce -  this is the perfect summer-time sundae. The Pistachio Delight is a delicious medley of pistachio, hazelnut and vanilla gelato, garnished with whole hazelnuts, crushed pistachio, and a Morelli's biscuit wafer.

There's also always a handful of dairy-free options as well. Morelli’s has three outlets in Dubai - Mirdif City Centre,  Dubai Mall and JBR Beach. We suggest enjoying your ice cream beachside. A double gelato scoop costs AED 32 and sundaes are around AED 60.
