London

Cecil Court

Book lovers’ hearts skip a beat when they wander through Cecil Court. This pedestrianised side street in the heart of London is devoted to all things printed, rare and vintage. Specialists in antiquarian books and maps do business alongside purveyors of historical and theatrical ephemera. One store is dedicated to children‘s literature, especially the works of Lewis Carroll. Another sells antique playbills, opera programmes and music scores. Eclecticism thrives in Cecil Court. Visit our favourite shop, a haven that carries nothing but Alice in Wonderland memorabilia. Presiding over the front window display is a live British Giant white rabbit named Harley. Sadly, Harley’s not for sale.
