From the outside, the church resembles any other church. But the Munich Augustinerkloster, built in the 18th century reserves an amusing surprise for visitors. A collection of more than 1,000 taxidermied animals decorate the interior of this house of God. Among them, the must-see is the wolpertinger, a winged beast with stag-like horns said to live in the Bavarian Alps. Although small in size, it supposedly feeds on lost travellers. Tourists beware!
