Chenies Manor is a magnificent 15th-century home set in the lush Buckinghamshire countryside. It’s splendid enough to have earned its former title, Chenies Palace – although it was never a royal seat nor the seat of a bishop. When you take your guided tour of the interior, don’t be surprised if it appears familiar. The manor has been used as a location for films and TV shows including Little Dorrit, Midsomer Murders, Poirot and many others. Afterwards take a stroll amid the beautiful formal gardens – they’re especially stunning in spring when thousands of tulips bloom.
