Take a stroll along the Grand Union Canal and into the Whippendell Woods. Trails thread their way among silver birch, beech, ash and oak trees, home to woodpeckers, tawny owls and sparrowhawks. And keep your eyes peeled for local wildlife including badgers and deer. If you’re here in spring, you’ll find the ground carpeted with blooming bluebells.
