Frithsden Beeches, Ashridge Estate, Moneybury Hill, Ringshall

West of the hamlet bordering Ashridge Park are the Frithsden Beeches. Left to nature, these magical beech woods are a popular location for film shootings, notably the fourth Harry Potter film, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. It was here that Harry and his friends were filmed walking through the wood to meet up with Mr Diggory and Cedric on their way to the Quidditch World Cup. A short drive further on is Ivinghoe Beacon with its fabulous views and the site of the portkey used in the film.
