Head to Lenzburg's Old Town to see the remnants of 15th-century homes. A short walk from the hilltop Lenzburg Castle brings you to a quaint street that's lined with outdoor cafés. Continue down the lane of quarried stone to see the façades of homes dating from 1492. How can we be so exact about the year? A fire destroyed most of the city in 1491. While the interiors are modern, the exteriors of three homes retain walls, wooden beams and sections of windows from centuries ago.
