The chapel "Onze Lieve Vrouw ter Nood" is dedicated to Virgin Mary and has a rich and very special story. A history that originated in 1942 during the 2nd World War. The edify of the chapel originated from the promise that, if Tilburg would come out reasonably spared from the war, the chapel would be build out of gratitude for Mary.
This chapel is now a war monument, that was nominated by the Cultural Heritage Brabant in 2012 as one of the five most kept alive war monuments in the province of North Brabant. Definitely worth a visit!
