The introduction and refrain of Ben E. King’s Stand By Me have been cut into the bark of a tree. Since King’s death in 2015, the park has even become a site of pilgrimage for his fans. How to find the tree itself? A clue: this tree does not resemble the 100 million other trees planted in Tiergarten.
