Yes: it was chosen by film director Luc Besson as the setting for one of the scenes of Le Grand Bleu. Remember now? This 1980s cult film traces the underwater odyssey of two no-limit free divers. It is here that Enzo (Jean Reno) arrives at full speed in his blazing red speedboat. Thirty years later, the landscape is still as fresh and beautiful as it was then. It has even become a place of pilgrimage for film enthusiasts. For the record, the famous boat was used for some time for educational purposes at a vocational college in Nîmes.
