Lake Biel is the source of many fantastical tales and myths. But do you know this one? In 1984, Margrit Christen, a local farmer, found a very strange-looking stone in a field near the lake. Since then, scientists have found similar stones by the dozen. According to them, these stones are actually fragments of the Twannberg meteorite, which fell to Earth some 160,000 years ago.
