You can find such wonders at Politehnica Subway station, where you can experience some close-ups with primeval creatures. The animals were sunk in marble flooring and their fossils are 80-million-year-old. But how did they end up there? The stone used in building of the station was brought from Apuseni mountains in east Romania. In the cretaceous period this area was fully covered with water.
