The History of Architecture
Located in Budapest’s 7th district, the Great Synagogue is Europe’s largest synagogue. Take a moment to admire its Moorish revival style and its Byzantine and Islamic architectural forms. Then head over to the adjacent Raoul Wallenberg Park. Here, you will come upon an impressive metal weeping willow upon which the names of Hungarian Jews murdered by the Nazis are inscribed.
