The Mercure was a lovely place to stay for our meeting at Penrith, with great food at the venue. The only thing difficult was not knowing how to use the air conditioner properly.

Bed was very hard kept getting pins and needles in my arm and woke up throughout the night sore, bathroom was a bath shower, grout was very mouldy, after having a shower the toilet area got very wet as it was at the end of the bath shower. Wasn’t a very comfortable stay at all especially after travelling in a car all day and just wanted a good sleep.

The room was on Level 1, the air conditioning was not always working so the room was stuffy during the night. It had a mould smell as well. I know it was the weekend of the rainy period but as the windows were fix I could not open to get natural air. There were cockroaches in the room. I hope when i return next year I will have a better experience.
