The staff are amazing in this hotel as Josh the bar person and Erica, the receptionist were supportive of my disabled and non binary intersex status as a member of the LGBTQI+ community. I am also an unpaid activist and so decided I needed a break to detox . I live in an area that’s toxic to minorities and so needed a break from constant hate . As another reviewer commented this hotel is a wee bit run down in places but I love 1970s brutalist buildings and this was a restful place to stay . Nice staff as mentioned and a massive standard room and a lovely breakfast that supported my pescatarian needs . Lots of nice young people in the hotel too as guests gives the place a friendly modern vibe and atmosphere. Yes a few worn carpets and desks that could do with a lick of paint but nothing major . The hotel staff are supportive to disabled people and the LGBTQI+ community,which is rare to find these days at a hotel . Retro building, supportive staff and restful, great beer and 14 year old whiskies served at the bar by Josh and so what’s not to like !

The hotel was great located.. on arrival receptionist was lovely.. had to ring cleaner to see if room ready.. sent to room 606.. the floor was a riot.. bags of rubbish ... Dirty laundry.. tripping over bags etc.. just not what you'd expect to see

Great location for all amenities. Room clean and tidy. Preference shower only don't know if such a thing in hotel. Would book again.
