I have been staying at the Mercure a few times now over the last 2/3 months. Each stay has been fantastic with a warm welcome from the team. I can see the hotel are renovating each room now. Especially the privileged rooms. With bedside USB C charging points, rainfall showers. It’s great to see the hotel investing and upgrading the rooms. Also fantastic to see the team recognising my loyalty status with the Accor group. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this hotel for business or holidays. Close to the airport and connections across Norfolk

Absolutely a wonderful place to stay! I always go on first impressions and boy, what an impression Georgie on Reception made! This lady was beyond polite and happy to see us, and during our stay she kept intouch by chatting and wishing us a nice day whenever we passed the reception desk. Plus we found that everyone of the staff that we spoke too here were also lovely. The Room was totally spotless and our breakfast was great too. Finding the front door was a feat. Room ok people pleasant enough, though had to stay a day longer than planned because I was unwell- a cold!

We are group who use the hotel for dining/meeting events on a regular basis. The staff who looked after us were fantastic, well led, attentive to detail and very quick to clear tables and bring on the next course. Our liaison with the hotel was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. We usually have a set meal but the hotel were able to deal with special diets no problem. The food was to a high standard. We will continue to use this hotel for the foreseeable future because it is a popular venue with our group.
