I expected much more from Front Office team. Cant say anything about the location because I choosed the hotel as the location as well. When I arrived I was given no information about F&B working time of the bar or restaurant or the discount that I have. The only thing that was explained to me is the room type and how much I am staying. The heartist card and membership number took forever to scan it although I thought they had it already in the system because the Cluster confirmed everything while I called them and modified the reservation. Even if this was like 4-5 minutes I believe I should be explained more in that time then informations I was given.The rooms after all were good. The bed was not really comfortable and the pillow was not that good. The housekeeping were not noisy and they were kind. First night there somebody punched our door in 2:00AM but cannot blame you and this has nothing to do with this review. As I said at the beginning I expected much more from my colleagues from the Front Office: example: when somebody asks you to give you some informations what to visit, that person wants story from you not the bunch of brochures, in that moment I felt like the receptionist just wanted to get rid of me and take a seat in the back office. I asked for the effort from FO team and I wanted 2 minutes short story what to visit from the monument and to see real history of Budapest not the brochures about thai massages… I can have it in my town as well. Pretty much everyone felt really cold at the front and I believe that is really important who represents the front doors of the hotel the only person who I found professional and smooth is the guy who I payed for my 2nd night who was in black shirt and had a longer hair if I remember correctly. The check-out was smooth as well.
